5. Wait.

The easiest of the 10 ways to have negative information removed from your credit report. Some entries may not carry the same weight in your credit report after several months. You may want to challenge the credit bureau for them again. And if they fail this time to answer your challenges you can have the negative entries removed.

6. Request for negative entries to be removed by stating the facts that caused the negative entry.

Facts that were totally out of your control, like a tornado hit your neighborhood and sucked up all the records you have, would help. It is best to provide supporting documents for this.

7. Settle your debts.

You may either pay off your debts or settle those debts that have lapsed. This would reflect in your credit report and offset the negative entries.

8. Have creditors help you.

You may want to negotiate your debts with them. You may settle issues on terms of your payment and have it reflected on your credit report. Creditors always want to have returns on their investment and don't want you going off declaring bankruptcy.

9. Take out secured loans and pay them off religiously.

This would reflect on your credit report positively. They would also make you develop good credit habits.

10. Get the credit bureau to notice you.

Getting them to notice you as someone who is intent on having your credit report made over would make them more appreciative of your efforts. Having good negotiation and letter writing skills is one way of getting them to notice you. All the previous 9 of the 10 ways to have negative information removed from your credit report would be more effective with this.

These 10 ways to have negative information removed from your credit report can help you get back that positive credit report which would open up more options for you in your financial life. You don't have to live in misery from all your debts and having a bad credit report.
