power against your creditors than before discharge

power against your creditors than before discharge. They would be forced to recognize that now, the money you have is lower than the amount of your debt.

7. Call up each credit bureau regarding your bankruptcy.

Needless to say, you need to make sure that all credit lines and loans that have been dismissed in your bankruptcy should not be continually considered as delinquent.

8. Buy a used car and keep your payments timely for at least one year.

Surely, you can still get an auto loan after bankruptcy. However, since you still have a bad credit history, you'll have to face some restrictions and higher rates until you regain a good payment record. This can also help you in rebuilding a good credit history.

9. Ask a family member or friend to cosign a small loan for you.

Talk to a member of your family or a friend on consigning a loan for you and explain that you need to rebuild your credit now that you are in your life after bankruptcy. It would be a risk to take on the part of the one who is willing to do the cosigning for you so it is very important that you talk things over thoroughly with that person and assure him that you will pay on time. Remember, if you are unable to pay the loan, the cosigner will have to pay for your loan. However, if the both of you cannot pay for it, you will both have damaged credit histories. So make sure that you live up to the trust your cosigner is making for you.

10. Challenge any incorrect or bad information on your credit report.

Instead of taking a bad credit on your record as something negative, take it positively. Use this as challenge for you to correct and improve your credit history. Put into your mind that you don't want to get in the bankruptcy pit ever again.

There is definitely life after bankruptcy. Therefore, do not be afraid because you are now equipped with useful information to get you back on track to financial success.
