Yes, you do deserve some pleasures for yourself, but consider whether some of those pleasures are worth going into debt over, debt that will cause you sleepless nights in the future.

7. It's fun to spend

Admit it or not, it is fun to spend. It is fun to whip out that plastic, or counting the paper bills, and then leaving the store with your favorite item.

8. Ignorance of financial situation

Some people are not aware of their financial situations and so they continue to spend money like it comes from a bottomless well.

9. Can't walk out of a mall empty handed

Some people find it difficult to go to a store and just window-shop. They feel that they should buy something when they visit a mall, and so most of the times they buy something they do not really need and will just end up stored at the back of their cabinet or their garage.

10. Can't say no

Some people fall into debt because they cannot refuse a loved-one's request even though they do not have the budget for those. They would gladly give in and buy that ridiculously expensive toy, or that overpriced plain-looking tiny little tank top their children want.
