don't have money

don't have money. If you have everything listed on the budget, then there's no room for credit card use.

7. Never gamble with credit card funds.

Nowadays, gambling continuously thrives on anybody's lifestyle. At first it may be some sort of recreation, but in the long run it can be an addiction. And because a lot of gambling institutions are accepting credit cards, you could be putting yourself in debt if you gamble using your plastic. So, it's better not to gamble at all.

8. Never hide anything from your spouse.

Communication and honesty are vital elements to debt-free living. Try to maintain a conversational relationship with your spouse and discuss financial matters as often as needed. Hiding something from your spouse may lead to spending habits that will eventually lead you to amassed debts.

9. Be financially literate.

What you don’t know can hurt you. Take some extra effort to know more about the credit card business, how they work, how do interest rates apply, your credit score, and your credit report. If you know at least an overview of those things, then you would know what to avoid so as not get into credit card debt.

10. Maintain and improve your source of income.

This is the very essence of one's financial status. In fact, nobody cares even if you max out all of your five credit cards and still accumulate additional loans along the way. What matters most is that you have the means to pay them all. That's why it is extremely important to love the work you do because it is your primary source for a living.

Should you decide to use your credit card the next time you go shopping, please have a plan for it. Remember, credit cards are not extensions of your income. They exist primarily to give you convenience and not a solution whenever you're out of cash. If you always keep these things in mind, then you can be sure of a worry-free, debt-free way of living.
